| "Every Monday" Savings for Nonprofits |
| By Ted Reiff |
| |
|
In September, TRP will launch a new "Every Monday" program to benefit all nonprofit organizations and schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Every Monday, nonprofits and schools may choose from hundreds of specially marked materials at our Oakland retail warehouse and pay cents on the dollar.
If you are buying for a local nonprofit organization or school, you’ll be eligible for some great deals -- all you have to do is shop on Monday! For example, we’ll be selling doors for $1.00 each, cabinets for $3.00, light fixtures for fifty cents, and plumbing fixtures for $5.00 and less. Selections will change from week to week, but we’ll always have plenty of items to choose from.
Used building materials offer ideal solutions for many organizational needs. For example, use them to:
• Wall off a storage closet, or the bookkeeper’s office.
• Enclose the boss’s office so s/he can’t bug the rest of the staff.
• Replace an old high-flow toilet.
• Add book cases and cabinets for general storage and special equipment.
• Spruce up a bathroom with a new vanity and sink.
Here’s how it works: the first time you visit our warehouse, bring a copy of your IRS tax-exempt status letter and a list of individuals who are authorized to buy for your organization. If you represent a school, list the names of authorized purchasers on a sheet of official school letterhead. We will keep this documentation on file for reference during future visits. That’s all there is to it!
Remember, this is a Monday-only program. That gives you four or five special shopping days each month. Come in often and beat the Monday blues with "Every Monday" savings.
One last thing: if you, personally, are not with a nonprofit or school, but know someone who is, please help us spread the word. |
