Re-Used Materials:

French doors
Island Cabinets
Stove Top
Trash Compactor
Stove Hood
Warming Draw
Sink and Faucet
Kitchen Window
Butcher Block

Our kitchen was small and stopped at the beginning of our side deck. In the remodel the kitchen was extended to the end of the side deck which enabled us to double our space. The roof was added along with the two walls to complete the enclosure of the room.  An island was installed in the middle of the new kitchen, gas and water were added to enable the re-used stove top and re-used sink to work.  A re-used kitchen hood was installed over the re-used stove in the island.  The ceiling of knotty pine wood was installed along with recessed lights. The original stove top was removed from the existing kitchen and that area was covered with re-used butcher block, which provides a great working area.  The re-used warming drawer was installed under the re-used butcher block where the original stove was.  A granite counter over re-used cabinets was added at the end of the existing kitchen with the re-used trash compactor installed right next to it.   The new kitchen was given a granite counter as well and installed over re-used cabinets.  Re-used french doors were added to give more light, and they were painted with a faux grain paint using a wood grain tool to make it resemble wood. A re-used window was installed at the front of the kitchen for lighting and accent. Re-used shutters were installed over the re-used window.
