Outdoor Patio Table

This table was inspired by an episode of Jamie Durie’s “Outdoor Room” on HGTV. It was about a Sedona inspired backyard with lots of red sandstone and desert vegetation. We wanted the table to be integrated into a complete outdoor dining experience. We built a firepit on one side and a small pond with waterfall on the other. The table, water, fire and sandstone all combined perfectly.

While browsing around at TRP in Pacoima I spotted some beams that were perfect for the table. They had a weather worn natural reddish brown patina that complimented the sandstone. They were straight, dry and in very decent condition. All they needed was some light sanding to get rid of the splinters. The legs were made of TRP 4x6 lumber and whole thing got a coat of water base finish and it looks amazing. Best of all the material cost me less than $50 and the table would sell easily for over $600. Thanks TRP!
