HOW TO CONTACT TRP | ||||||||
| ||||||||
We are a nonprofit, 501(c)3, corporation dedicated to keeping usable building materials out of our landfills and providing them for reuse. To date we have salvaged over 200,000 tons of usable building materials.
With over ten years of practical field experience, TRP knows what works and what doesn't in the reuse sector of the green building industry. We help building owners, architects, government agencies, contractors and developers with practical solutions: keynote speakers, workshops, feasibility studies, planning, marketing, materials valuation, retail operations, managerial/crew training, and more.
As deconstruction begins, we bring the salvaged materials to one of our warehouses, which are open to the public. Here you can find quality materials and appliances at great prices. And you will be helping the environment!
Join one of the fastest-growing segments of the green building movement! Check here for current employment, volunteer and collaborative opportunities in deconstruction, building-materials salvage and sales. If you are a licensed demolition contractor, learn how to qualify as a provider of TRP's ReUse Solution.™
TRP, with a full complement of associated, licensed deconstruction contractors, has deconstructed and salvaged hundreds of buildings ranging from simple single-family residences to multimillion dollar estate homes, and from military warehouses to large scale movie sets. In most instances private building owners are able to receive tax donations for the donated materials that cover all or most of the deconstruction costs.
Visit the News Room to view print and electronic media releases about TRP and its efforts to keep reusable building materials out of our landfills. You'll also find a downloadable Press Kit, copies of TRP press releases and a complete archive of TRP's monthly e-Letters.
The Velvet Crowbar is our print newsletter. View current and past issues in .pdf, featuring fascinating reuse-relevant articles by a variety of guest authors: architects, appraisers, accountants, journalists, reuse/recycling professionals - even a chef!
